M Cadet Scheme (11th Batch):

Open for unmarried male and female students studying in 4th or 5th year of MBBS (in PMDC-recognized medical colleges). Age limit up to 26 years on 1st July 2026.

Eligibility Criteria — Pakistan Navy Short Service Commission 2026-A

1. Nationality

  • Applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan (male/female depending on branch).


2. Age Limit (as on 1st July 2026)

  • Up to 26 years (for most branches and M Cadet Scheme).

  • Relaxation may be provided for some specialized positions as per Navy policy.


3. Gender

  • Male and Female candidates are eligible (branches vary by gender).

    • Example: Medical, Education, IT, and Special branches are open for both genders.

    • Some technical or engineering branches may be male-only.


4. Marital Status

  • Married/Unmarried — depending on the branch.

  • For M Cadet SchemeUnmarried male/female candidates only.


5. Educational Qualification

🔹 For Engineering & Technical Branches:

  • BE/BSc/BS in relevant disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Avionics, Naval Architecture, etc.)

  • Must be from an HEC-recognized university with minimum 60% marks or 2.5 CGPA.

🔹 For Medical Branch:

  • MBBS/BDS/Equivalent recognized by PMDC/PMC.

  • For M Cadet Scheme → candidates must be studying in 4th or 5th year of MBBS (as of 1st July 2026) in PMDC-recognized medical colleges.

  • Minimum 50% marks in all previous professional exams.

🔹 For IT Branch:

  • BS/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or IT-related field.

🔹 For Education Branch:

  • Master’s degree (MA/MSc/MS) in subjects like English, Mathematics, Management Sciences, or Computer Science.

🔹 For Law Branch:

  • LLB / LLM / Bar-at-Law (recognized by HEC).

🔹 For Special Branch:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant specialization (Meteorology, Architecture, HRM, Strategic Studies, etc.)


6. Physical Standards

  • Height (Male): Minimum 5 ft 4 in (162.5 cm)

  • Height (Female): Minimum 5 ft (152.4 cm)

  • Must meet medical fitness and vision standards set by Pakistan Navy.


7. Selection Procedure

 

  1. Entrance test (academic + intelligence)

  2. Preliminary medical & interview at recruitment centres

  3. ISSB test/interview (for shortlisted candidates)

  4. Final medical examination at PN Hospital/CMH

  5. Final selection by Naval Headquarters (NHQ) based on overall merit


8. Ineligibility

  • Declared unfit by medical board or ISSB.

  • Dismissed from armed forces or government service.

  • Dual nationality holders (unless they surrender foreign nationality).

  • Convicted by a court of law.
